This Savonette pocket watch with 15 stones is missing the front cover and the rear, outer case back. Presumably these were made of gold and fall victim to a gold smelter. Also on the inner dust cover are traces to be found suggesting that it was tested here, whether it was just a gilding or whether it is massive. The dust cover of the watch carries an engraving, which reminds of the horrible and dark time of the Second World War, in which Munich was called Hauptstadt der Bewegung ("Capital of the Movement") from 1935 on. On December 1, 1938, the borough Allach was incorporated into the city of Munich, the engraving was made for this occasion.
