Remark

Junghans J84/S Meister; detail movement

This Junghans Meister with the caliber Junghans J84/S is a rarity because this variant with its horizontal fine-adjustement screws was brought to the market only in 1958. As early as 1959, the then long-used version with gooseneck fine adjustment was introduced, the caliber Junghans J84/S3 or Junghans 684.76.

Presumably, the adjustment with the adjustment screws on the balance arms was too time-consuming and Junghans switched to the gooseneck fine adjustment.
